There was an antiwar demonstration of about 3000 people in Warsaw today
involving some leftist organisations, anarchists, common people, a lot of
Iraqis, Chechens, and Turks from Warsaw and from many other towns.
The slogans were the usual, as were the puppets of prime minister Miller
and president Kwasniewski as two doggies following Bush.
There were some scuffles with police after a fight broke out between an
Iraqi and
an American, it is not clear if it was a provocation or not.

A few nights before, some activists were arrested for postering at night,
and were informed by the police that it's forbidden to put posters in time
of war. A prosecution is prepared against the activists. At the same time
the president keeps telling that we're not at war. The antiwar coalition
decided to make their own court case against the president and the prime
minister for their decisions of participation in a war of aggression, which
is against Polish law.
